About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga

We’re on a mission to modernise our tech and transform how we support communities across Aotearoa. As our new Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of that mission — leading projects that matter, with people who care.

This role is for someone who thrives in the messy middle — where strategy meets delivery, and where plans meet the real world. You’ll be the calm in the chaos, the glue between teams, and the one who keeps things moving when the unexpected happens (because it always does).

In this role you will:

  • Lead multiple IT projects from planning to delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams.
  • Keep projects on track — scope, budget, timeline, and outcomes.
  • Mentor others and help grow our delivery capability.

Who are we looking for? – Mā‎ wai te mahi nei?

To be successful you will have:

  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • A cool head, a warm heart, and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • A collaborative spirit and a bias for action.
  • The ability to laugh when things go sideways — and then get them back on track.

What about you? Are you:

  • A natural organiser who thrives in the space between strategy and delivery.
  • Calm under pressure, with a steady hand and a sharp eye for detail.
  • A confident communicator who can wrangle stakeholders, vendors, and the occasional rogue timeline.
  • Someone who sees the big picture — but isn’t afraid to dive into the weeds when needed.
  • A collaborator at heart who believes the best outcomes come from working together.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and the occasional curveball.
  • Passionate about purpose-driven work and making a real difference.
  • You bring structure, clarity, and a bit of fun to everything you do.

If so, then we would love to hear from you.
