Assistant Shop Manager/Scheduler
Permanent, Part-time (16 hours per week)

About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga
As Assistant Shop Manager/Scheduler, you’ll help keep our Wairau Red Cross Shop running smoothly by coordinating driver schedules, managing sales, delivering great customer service, and ensuring stock and displays are in tip top shape. Plus being a part time role, we’ll help you to balance your work and life too.

In this role you will:
- Schedule our delivery drivers for customer donation, collections and deliveries
- Demonstrate excellent customer service as well as promoting/driving sales.
- Be the connection point between customers, Shop Managers and our Van Drivers, so relationship building is key
- Report back to the Regional Retail Managers on supplier donations
- Provide top notch customer service, cash management and till management in our shop, as and when required
- Help maintain shop presentation/displays.
- Maintain stock management/preparation and control as per training
Who are we looking for? – Mā wai te mahi nei?
To be successful you will have:
- Previous scheduling experience is advantageous
- Experience and confidence using Excel as we have a daily schedule
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills as well as being able to manage your time effectively
- Experience in a retail sales environment, cash handling/management and retail shop operations
- Skills in dealing with a diverse range of people
