National Manager Business Development 

Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga

Reporting to the Director of First Aid, you’ll lead the sales function for First Aid training and products. This is a strategic leadership role where you’ll manage a team of sales consultants and product support specialists, driving growth through strong account management and new business development.

You’ll play a key role in shaping and executing business plans, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring we maintain and grow our market share. Your leadership will empower your team to deliver exceptional results while fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture. 

In this role you will: 

  • Lead and inspire a team to achieve aspiring sales and financial targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to grow revenue and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, government, and reseller partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience through effective CRM management.

To be successful you will have: 

  • Proven experience in business development, account management, and sales leadership.
  • Experience in the education or medical devices sector is an advantage
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering growth.
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a business-related discipline.
  • Empathy for humanitarian causes and commitment to the Red Cross Principles.
