Shop Manager - Wairau

Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga 

In this role you will: 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the shop, including opening and closing procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and resolving any issues or concerns
  • Coordinate with and train our volunteer staff
  • Manage cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including balancing cash registers at the end of each shift
  • Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.

Who are we looking for? – Mā‎ wai te mahi nei? 

To be successful you will have: 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts
  • Experience/interest in working with volunteers
  • Second hand retail/fashion experience would be an advantage
  • The ability to accept and process donations in a timely manner
  • Knowledge around ensuring all goods are priced with in the Price guidelines
  • The ability to train coach others - staff and volunteers
