Shop Manager - Wairau
Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga
In this role you will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the shop, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Coordinate with and train our volunteer staff
- Manage cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including balancing cash registers at the end of each shift
- Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
Who are we looking for? – Mā wai te mahi nei?
To be successful you will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts
- Experience/interest in working with volunteers
- Second hand retail/fashion experience would be an advantage
- The ability to accept and process donations in a timely manner
- Knowledge around ensuring all goods are priced with in the Price guidelines
- The ability to train coach others - staff and volunteers
