About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga 

This role provides administrative and database management support for key New Zealand Red Cross projects, focusing primarily on the Refugee Trauma Recovery (RTR) contract. A key focus is to manage the reporting compliance for the RTR project, however there is a secondary focus of contributing to data management, reporting and evaluation of other refugee programmes.

In this role you will: 

  • Manage the client management system and ensure compliance with DHB contract reporting. 
  • Train staff and support PMER processes
  • Prepare regular reports for RTR management, the Ministry of Health and New Zealand Red Cross committees as required. 
  • Contribute to evaluations and assist with audits 
  • Provide general administrative support, distribute publications and record meeting minutes.

To be successful you will have: 

  • Understanding of the refugee settlement process and mental health/wellbeing. 
  • Knowledge of confidentiality protocols. 
  • Expertise in advising, developing, or implementing results-based accountability frameworks. 
  • Proven experience in data extraction for reporting purposes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience. 
  • Proficient in concise business writing and current IT software. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills for team commitment and networking. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage projects, and pursue personal development
