NZRC offers a total remuneration approach of $55,836.00 for this role, which comprises of base salary as well as employer contribution to KiwiSaver. About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga 

Be part of New Zealand Red Cross’s Area team in Whanganui, providing hands-on admin support to help deliver activities that make a real difference for our people in the Area.

In this role you will: 

  • Maintaining people databases in a timely and diligent manner to ensure compliance with organisational policies and other requirements
  • Managing volunteer applications
  • Supporting member and volunteer recognition and governance processes
  • Fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Who are we looking for? – Mā‎ wai te mahi nei? 

To be successful you will have: 

  • Passionate about creating excellent people experiences for new members and volunteers
  • Excellent data management, phone, verbal, written, technology and communications skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams)
  • Highly organised and motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • A dedicated team player who builds positive relationships in a team environment
  • Confidence to work respectfully and effectively within Māori cultural contexts, including familiarity and ability to move within settings involving Tikanga Māori
  • Ability to relate to and work with people from diverse backgrounds and across all age groups
  • Project administration skills or relevant experience
